Hi,I have a 7 x 20 porch with old t&g pine that is mostly rotten and warped and needs to come out. For these reasons, I plan to forego t&g flooring and use 1×4 or 1×6 planks spaced about the width of an 8d nail. It might be hard to sweep the porch, but it won't be slippery. I'm pretty sure this cedar is sold for use as trim boards, but I was wondering if it would work in this application. I tried a bit to find 5/4 inch boards, which I would be more comfortable with support-wise, but the few places I found online had minimum orders of more than 1000 square feet and I need less than 200 feet.
